Music Licensing

Important:
All music available for download on this site is protected by copyright and offered under simple, clear licensing tiers. This guide outlines what each license allows and helps you select the right option based on how you intend to use the music. By purchasing and downloading any product on this site, you agree to the terms of the applicable License [Personal/Standard/Professional] as outlined below.

For your listening and your personal practice only.

The Personal Use License is intended for individuals who want to enjoy Craig Young’s music in private settings. This is the perfect choice if you’re using the music for personal meditation, breathwork, journaling, or simply to create a peaceful atmosphere at home.

What You Can Do:
  • Listen to the music privately on your phone, computer, or other personal devices.

  • Use the music to support your own wellness practices like meditation, breathwork, yoga, journaling, or relaxation.

  • Download and store the track for unlimited private use.

What You Cannot Do:
  • Play the music in group classes, workshops, or client sessions — even unpaid ones.

  • Use the music in videos, podcasts, or any content that is shared with others.

  • Upload the track to public platforms like YouTube, SoundCloud, or Insight Timer.

  • Remix, resell, or redistribute the file in any form.

Ownership & Rights:

All music remains the copyrighted property of Craig Young Music. Purchasing a license grants you usage rights, but not ownership of the music itself.

This license is valid indefinitely for personal use — as long as the above conditions are respected.

(Also referred to as Standard License on some products)

For live classes, client sessions, and in-person or virtual instruction — without recordings.

This license is ideal for wellness professionals, coaches, and facilitators who want to play Craig Young’s music in real-time experiences. Whether you’re guiding a yoga class, breathwork journey, or one-on-one client session, the Instructor License covers your use.

What You Can Do:
  • Use the music in live in-person or online sessions (Zoom, workshops, retreats, etc.).

  • Play music during classes, meditations, or therapeutic sessions with individuals or groups.

  • Integrate the music into your professional practice — without distributing recordings.

 What You Cannot Do:
  • Add the music to pre-recorded meditations, courses, or downloadable products.

  • Share, distribute, or upload the track to platforms like YouTube or Insight Timer.

  • Include the music in any content that will be monetized or publicly distributed.

Ownership & Rights:

You are purchasing usage rights, not ownership of the music. Craig Young Music retains full copyright of the original work.

If you plan to record your session and share or sell it, you’ll need to upgrade to a Commercial License.

For creators and professionals using music in digital products, recorded meditations, and monetized platforms.

The Commercial License is designed for those producing and distributing content — such as guided meditations, hypnosis recordings, YouTube videos, or paid courses — where the music is embedded into a product or experience.

What You Can Do:
  • Add the music to recorded meditations, journeys, breathwork or hypnosis sessions.

  • Use in commercial content such as:

    • Online courses

    • YouTube or podcast episodes

    • Downloadable digital products or audio bundles

    • Apps or membership platforms (Kajabi, Thinkific, Circle, etc.)

  • Sync the music with your voiceover, narration, or video content.

What You Cannot Do:
  • Sell or share the music on its own (e.g., offer the track as a download).

  • Transfer or sublicense the music to others for use in their content.

  • Include the raw audio in apps or programs you don’t directly control without permission.

Ownership & Rights:

All copyrights remain with Craig Young Music. You are granted the right to integrate the track into your own creations and distribute those end products — but not to relicense or resell the music independently.

If you’re producing something larger in scope (e.g., an app or certification program), you can contact Craig to explore a collaborative licensing arrangement.
